Psalms 46:10 NIV – He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;I will be exalted among the nations,I will be exalted in the earth.”
When you let God in everything falls into place.
When you let God take control, everything falls into place.
When you let God take the wheel, you end up at the destination you were meant and called to be.
When you let God take control over your thoughts, heart and word, everything you say will be worth a blessing unto and even someone else.
When you let God take over your pen and fingers (if typing), god takes control of your words.
Where am I going with this?
What am I talking about?
When something bothers you…
When something offends you…
When things are not going as intended for you….
When you feel like your drowning….
Stop and praise him.
Give him all the control.
Give him all the glory.
Take a step back and let him take over.
Let him take over your thoughts, words, actions, soul and mind.
Submit yourself to him.
He will get you through it, no matter how big or small the issue.
He will get you through.
He will even provide the appropriate scriptures for what you need.
There’s been times I get upset and want to lash out.
I open up a notepad and I start writing.
In my writing God reveals to me scenarios, actions and reactions, in my writing he reveals consequences.
In my writing I reflect and seek his word.
In my writing I go back edit my venting and next thing you know I have something that inspires me.
So I share it here and who knows, maybe it can help and inspire others.
As I write God refers me to the Bible.
Remember we are to praise both in good times and in bad.
We can’t leave the prayers, praise and worship only when times are bad.
We must look to him, seek him, submit to him, open your heart to him, when you do he will take control and bless you.
1 Peter 2:1-5 NIV “Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 4 As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house[D] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ”
Father God I want to be filled with your presence. I want to walk my walk filled with you. I want to talk my talk glorifying you. I want to sing my songs and lamentations in honor of you. I want my words, my thoughts and actions to be filled with you. I want to open my heart so that you can inhabit it. I want to be fully dependent on you the way a newborn child depends on his mother for milk. I need your spiritual milk, your daily bread, drink from living water and hunger no more. I put my faith and trust in you and only you. Amen.
